High-End Mansion on the World's First Shared Private Island, Bahia, Salvador

The property offers a high-end mansion, pier, helipad, private beach, and leisure areas, and is for sale with shares of $3.7 million.

Having a 5,632 m² private island in Salvador, Bahia, available one week a month, year-round, is possible. Shares in the world's first shared private island are for sale to anyone who pays $3.7 million for the space, which offers a range of amenities.

Prime You, a company specializing in sharing assets such as airplanes, helicopters, boats, real estate, and sports cars, is responsible for sales. "Having a private island with a boat is a dream for many people. However, acquiring this type of asset isn't always feasible, either due to the high cost and difficult maintenance, or even lack of availability on the market. We offer this unique opportunity," says CEO and founder, Marcus Matta.

Located in All Saints Bay, the island can be accessed by sea, pier, or private helipad. The leisure area features a common room, fire pit, bar, infinity hot tub, swimming pool, spa, and a modern gym—as well as a beautiful private beach.

Upon arrival, the owner will find a property with designer furniture, seven suites, dining and living rooms, a gazebo, two fully equipped kitchens with state-of-the-art appliances, and a private wine cellar for each shareholder.

Amenities include a boat and jet ski garage with a ramp, a rainwater tank, diesel generators, and solar energy collection, a fully equipped staff residence, and a 62-foot boat, already included in the quota, for cruising along the coast of Salvador.

Services include a chef specializing in Le Cordon Bleu, kitchen assistants, a sommelier, cleaning and crew services (skipper and mate) for the boat, and concierge services for special requests.

Four shareholders can purchase for $3.7 million—25% of the total value of the project's share—and will be entitled to enjoy the island for one week per month—a total equivalent of three months per year. There is also a fixed monthly fee of $7,300 to cover fixed maintenance costs, plus a "variable fee to ensure the property is always in top condition every time it is used."

According to the company, each shareholder will have their own exclusive, individual trunk, allowing them to customize both the property and the vessel. Holidays and special dates will be raffled among future owners on a rotating basis in subsequent years. One of the shares has already been sold, and delivery is scheduled for June 2024.
