The Orsini di Nerola Castle, located in the Sabine Hills, 45 km from Rome, Italy, has been put up for sale for €6.5 million. Built in the 11th century, the property was extensively restored in the 20th century, preserving its medieval exterior and adapting the interiors for hotel use.

Building a Custom Home in Markham: Lots, Permits, Budgets and Timelines

Markham is one of the harder places in the GTA to buy the house you actually want. Established streets in Unionville and Thornhill hold character homes that were laid out for a different era, while newer developments trade square footage for sameness. Building custom solves both problems, but it introduces a different set of questions. Here is what the process actually looks like, from the lot to the keys.

Five Ways to Avoid Disappointment in Dating in 2026

In 2026, being single is both easy and difficult. It’s easy because there are more technologies and platforms than ever before. It’s difficult because this very abundance breeds anxiety, exhaustion, and cynicism. How can you keep faith in people when every other profile looks the same and every third date is a letdown? We’ve put together five ways to help you stay interested in dating and not give up.

Exterior Home Openings to Check Before the First Cold Weather

The first cold stretch of the year usually sends people straight to the thermostat. If the heat comes on, everything feels fine. But there are a few places outside the house that are worth checking before the furnace begins running every day.

Exterior vents and openings spend months exposed to leaves, insects, birds, rodents and weather. Some may barely be used during spring and summer. By the time heating season starts, a vent that looked clear in March may no longer be clear in October.

A quick walk around the house can catch quite a few problems early.

LED Street Lighting for Private Commercial and Public Areas

Outdoor lighting has several tasks at the same time. It must provide good visibility after dark, make paths and entrances easier to use, illuminate building surroundings and help create a comfortable visual environment. The requirements are different for a private garden, a parking area, a warehouse yard or a public street, so outdoor lighting is usually built from several types of luminaires rather than one universal fixture.

LED technology is particularly suitable for this purpose because light output can be directed precisely where it is needed. Instead of illuminating the entire surroundings indiscriminately, separate luminaires can be used for roads, pedestrian zones, façades, entrances, landscaping and utility areas. This makes the lighting system easier to plan and allows each zone to perform its own function.

The Fiberglass Tub Problem Most Homeowners Solve the Wrong Way

Fiberglass bathtubs are everywhere. They were the default choice in residential construction for decades — affordable, easy to install, and initially presentable. Walk through almost any home built between the 1970s and early 2000s and there’s a good chance the bathtub is fiberglass. That’s a lot of tubs, and a lot of them are showing their age.

Essential Safety Tips for Strength Training at Home

Strength training at home provides flexibility and convenience, but safety should always remain a priority. Without the supervision of gym staff or training partners, home athletes need to take additional steps to create a secure workout environment. Proper equipment selection, good technique, and thoughtful planning all contribute to safer and more effective training sessions.

Maintenance and Risk Control for LED Wall Virtual Production Stages

In led wall virtual production, a screen problem can cost more than the repair itself. When actors, directors, camera operators, lighting teams, clients, and technical staff are waiting on set, even a small fault can stop the day. A flickering column, black module, color mismatch, failed cable, or unstable processor may delay shots, damage confidence, and create expensive overtime. That is why maintenance and risk control should be planned before the first shoot, not after the first failure.

Seasonal Pest Prevention for Yarmouth Homes: What Homeowners Should Watch For

Yarmouth homeowners deal with different pest pressures throughout the year. Some pests become more active when temperatures rise, while others move indoors as the weather cools. Moisture, wooded surroundings, older structures, basements, garages, gardens, and exterior gaps can all influence which pests appear and how often they return.

Hidden Pipe Problems Homeowners Miss and How to Prevent Costly Repairs

Many plumbing problems don’t announce themselves with dramatic leaks or sudden failures. Instead, they develop quietly behind walls, under floors, or beneath outdoor surfaces, often going unnoticed until the damage becomes expensive and disruptive.

For homeowners, understanding early pipe issues is one of the most effective ways to protect a property. Small warning signs, when ignored, can escalate into structural damage, mould growth, or water wastage that affects both comfort and long-term value.

Plants and Feng Shui: How to Combine Different Species to Infuse Your Home with Positive Energy

Plants don't just beautify the home: they purify, calm, revitalize, and, most importantly, activate vital energy.

According to the Feng Shui of plants, creating an abundant green space by combining various plants is essential for the correct flow of positive energy and prosperity in the home. Plants don't just beautify the home: they purify, calm, revitalize, and, most importantly, activate vital energy. When combined consciously, they can create a true green sanctuary within the home, a corner where nature, spirituality, and decor intertwine to elevate your vibration and that of your home.

Plants represent wood, one of the five fundamental elements of Feng Shui (along with water, earth, fire, and metal). This element is associated with growth, health, expansion, and vitality. But plants don't just bring wood. Because they are alive, they also generate energy movement and help dissolve blockages in areas where energy is stagnant.

When plants are placed intentionally and in balanced combinations, they can transform any space into a welcoming and vibrant refuge.

Now, with roughly 80 percent of the renovation complete, the property is ready for a new owner to complete its grand vision.
