The Dominican Republic's most expensive house has been listed for sale for US$45 million. The property is known as Villa Farallon. If the owners' asking price is maintained, it will set a record for residential sales in the Caribbean country.

The property is located on the beachfront, and the mansion has 3,493 square meters of built area. All furniture, artwork, cutlery, appliances, and even an electric grand piano were included in the sale price, as were the two golf carts used for outdoor transportation.

Perched atop a cliff, the two-story residence is constructed of concrete and steel. Inside, marble walls, natural stone floors, oak doors, and hurricane-proof windows feature. There are 10 suites and 16 bathrooms, as well as three staff quarters.

The mansion also boasts a movie theater, a nightclub with a DJ booth and VIP area, and a spacious terrace with stonework from Canada.

The master suite measures 371 square meters—with a bedroom, two bathrooms, a private gym, an ocean-facing office, and a spa with a sauna and jacuzzi. Outside, there's an infinity pool decorated with LED lights.
